Zammo.ai to Showcase Zammo Agents at Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 with a Live Theater Session and Hands-On Demo Station

In Barcelona, November 3–5, Zammo will show city and county leaders how staff can turn plain language into a live, multilingual citizen service agent, no developers and no IT ticket required.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 27, 2026 — Zammo.ai today announced it will take part in Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 (SCEWC26), November 3–5 in Barcelona, with a live theater session and a hands-on demo station showcasing Zammo Agents. The event marks the first major global showcase of Zammo Agents, a no-code, agentic AI platform that lets city and county staff, not developers, build AI agents in plain language and run them inside an agency's own Microsoft Azure tenant. Zammo Agents is now available on the Microsoft Marketplace.

Zammo will appear on the Microsoft partner stage and run a demo station inside the Microsoft booth all three show days, as one of a select group of partners featured in the “Deliver personalized government services” area. At both, Zammo will build working agents live, in front of the city and county decision-makers gathering at the world's leading event on urban innovation. Nobody has to take Zammo's word for it: attendees can test the agents themselves.

"Every city leader we talk to has heard the AI pitch," said Alex Farr, CEO of Zammo. "What they haven't seen is their own staff building something real in minutes. Barcelona is where we stop describing it and start showing it."

Live on Stage: Tuesday, November 3, 4:30 PM

In a 20-minute session titled "Agentic AI for City Services, Built Live on Stage," Stacey Kyler, Managing Director, presents with Patrick Gilligan, Director of Product, co-presenting. The session answers a question every city is asking: what does it actually take to move an AI idea into a live resident service?

Attendees will watch an agent open a work order across siloed city systems, then see a brand-new agent built from scratch on stage, in plain language, and published to web chat and a phone line.

"People expect a canned demo," said Gilligan. "We're building it live because that's the whole point. If we can do it on stage in twenty minutes, a 311 manager can do it at their desk."

The session also covers what makes agentic AI safe to scale in government, from guardrails and escalation policies to audit trails. Attendees leave with a five-question checklist for evaluating any AI agent vendor.

Hands-On at the Microsoft Booth: November 3–5

At its demo station, "Turn Plain Language Into a Live Citizen Service Agent," Zammo will build a citizen service agent live, exactly the way any city employee could. No developers, no IT ticket, no code. The team will connect it to real backend systems, give it the agency's own look and voice, and publish it to web chat and a phone line in minutes. Then visitors can test it themselves and hear it answer in their own language, running securely inside the agency's own Microsoft Azure tenant. The station is staffed during all show floor hours.

"We wanted a session where nobody has to take our word for it," said Kyler. "You don't need to imagine what this looks like at your agency. You can try it yourself."

Running Inside the Agency's Own Cloud

Zammo Agents isn't a bolt-on to an agency's cloud. It runs inside it. Deployed to the agency's own Microsoft Azure tenant, the full stack runs on more than 30 Azure services, secured end to end. Agents serve residents across voice, SMS, and chat, powered by core services including Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Azure Bot Service, Microsoft Azure AI Search, and Microsoft Azure SQL Database. Every service is secured with Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities with Azure role-based access control (RBAC), and Microsoft Azure Key Vault, so the agency keeps full control of its data, security policies, and access.

Answers are grounded in the agency's own information. Zammo Agents uses Microsoft Foundry IQ knowledge bases built from agency documents, along with Azure AI Search indexes and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, to deliver cited, permission-aware answers with no custom pipeline to build. Microsoft Fabric IQ data agents answer operational data questions in plain language.

Zammo Agents is now live in Microsoft Marketplace, so agencies with existing Microsoft commitments can procure it with no separate procurement cycle and deploy it directly into their own tenant.

From there, Zammo Agents connects the full resident journey (intake, routing, resolution, and proactive status updates) across voice, chat, SMS, and web, in 140+ automatically detected languages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Track Record Behind the Platform

Based on Zammo's platform performance across its government customer base, agencies have seen:

  • 73.6% of citizen service requests resolved by AI, without staff intervention

  • Under 5 months average payback period

  • 5,400+ staff hours freed annually for higher-value constituent work

See It in Barcelona

SCEWC26 attendees can catch the live session on Tuesday, November 3 at 4:30 PM on the Microsoft partner stage, or stop by the Zammo demo station in the Microsoft booth any day of the show.
